Ooo Lalla Cafes...

When I was in India I had no idea that cafes can be such a wonderful place to hang out,unending coffee,tea,long conversations,vibrant people,noisy chitchat,sunny porches and the best thing the innovative cuisine.The only place you would think of going is Cafe Coffee Day,Barista,Java Green and these are prevalent only in the big cities and not many people can afford them.I dreaded going to these places because it was only the cream of the society who were spotted there..

Once I came to Toronto life just revolves around cafes in the weekend,we have yet to explore hundreds of cafes .A few which I really enjoyed were the yummy chocolate cake at Faema,the enticing waffle and crepe at Sicilian sidewalk cafe,the innovative omlette at Brads,the pancakes at Mitsys and how can I forget the fries at Aunty's and Uncle's.Hmm I am already wondering what is next cafe on my list.

The best thing I have noticed here in these lovely cafes is you can just be yourself in the crowd,the waiters at the cafe are so friendly and have an amazing smile and are very swift in their work.The food here is so affordable and it makes you want to come back to the place.The food is so different and interesting.

The cafes also help you to relax and have all those lost conversations with your dear one or your friends or maybe even with your boss or colleagues.Another very noticeable feature is most of the cafes are located in beautiful neighbourhoods and have beautiful patios overlooking the streets.

Cafe .. three cheers to the person who came up with the idea of cafes and all those peole who havent ventured into cafes I would say Get up ,Wear your spring dress and join us a for a hot cup of coffee or a warm conversation.

The boy stood on the burning deck
Whence all but he had fled;
The flame that lit the battle's wreck
Shone round him o'er the dead

The poem commemorates an actual incident that occurred in 1798 during the Battle of the Nile aboard the French ship Orient. The young son Giocante (his age is variously given as ten, twelve and thirteen) of commander Louis de Casabianca remained at his post and perished when the flames caused the magazine to explode.

[edit] Narrative
In Hemans' and other tellings of the story, young Casabianca refuses to desert his post without orders from his father. (It is sometimes said, rather improbably, that he heroically set fire to the magazine to prevent the ship's capture by the British.) It's said that he was seen by English sailors on ships attacking from both sides but how any other details of the incident are known beyond the bare fact of the boy's death, is not clear. Hemans, not purporting to offer a history, but rather a poem inspired by the bare facts, writes:
Yet beautiful and bright he stood,
As born to rule the storm;
A creature of heroic blood,
A proud, though childlike form.
The flames rolled on—he would not go
Without his Father's word;
That father, faint in death below,
His voice no longer heard.
Hemans has him repeatedly, and heart-rendingly, calling to his father for instructions: "'Say, Father, say/If yet my task is done;'" "'Speak, father!' once again he cried/'If I may yet be gone!;'" and "shouted but once more aloud/ 'My father! must I stay?'" Alas, there is, of course, no response.
She concludes by commending the performances of both ship and boy:
With mast, and helm, and pennon fair,
That well had borne their part—
But the noblest thing which perished there
Was that young faithful heart.

Life in the first one year of marriage..

Every individual has loads of aspirations as to how his professional and personal life should nurture into.I too had a lot of dreams of how my future husband would be,his thoughts,his dreams,his family..today when i look back at those thoughts i feel blessed for the man in my life Murali is a gem of a person,the reason behind me to start off a blog.He says it would encourage you to organise ur thought process and keep you inspired and motivated.

All married couples should learn the art of battle as they should learn the art of making love. Good battle is objective and honest--never vicious or cruel. Good battle is healthy and constructive, and brings to a marriage the principle of equal partnership.This is a very true statement,its not who emerges victorious but the reason for the battle that should enlighten our life.
